TicTracker: AI Smart Tracking ("TicTracker", "we", "us", or "our") is designed to help parents and older children track tics, mood, sleep, food, and daily activities in a simple and supportive way. We take privacy seriously and strive to collect as little data as possible.

This Privacy Policy explains what information TicTracker collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Enter Manually

TicTracker allows you to log information such as:

  • Tic entries
  • Mood ratings
  • Sleep information
  • Food logs
  • Activities and notes

This data is stored locally on your device by default. We do not access, read, sell, or share this data.

1.2 Device Information

For app functionality, we may collect non-identifiable information such as:

  • App version
  • Device model
  • Operating system version

This helps with debugging and ensuring proper functionality.

1.3 Subscription & Purchase Information

If you subscribe to TicTracker Pro, payment is handled by Apple (App Store). We do not receive or store your payment information. We only receive anonymous subscription status from RevenueCat to unlock premium features.

1.4 No Sensitive Personal Data Collected Automatically

We do not collect:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Contact info
  • Location data
  • Health records
  • Biometric data

Unless you manually provide contact information when emailing us.

2. How We Use Data

We use your information only for:

  • Displaying logs and trends inside the app
  • Generating simple pattern insights using on-device logic
  • Providing premium features if you have a subscription
  • Fixing bugs and improving stability

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

3. Data Storage & Security

Local Storage

All logs (tics, mood, sleep, food, etc.) are stored securely on your device using a local database.

Cloud Backups

If your device uses iCloud backups, your data may be encrypted and stored as part of your system backup, controlled by Apple. TicTracker does not access or manage this.

No External Servers

TicTracker does not send your personal data to our servers or to any third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

TicTracker may be used by parents logging data for their children. We intentionally:

  • Collect no personal information directly from children
  • Store all logs locally
  • Require no account or login
  • Follow principles of COPPA and GDPR-K compliance for minimal-data apps

Parents retain full control over all entered information.

5. Third-Party Services

TicTracker uses the following services:

RevenueCat

Used only to manage subscriptions. It provides anonymous identifiers and purchase status. It does not access your logs or personal data.

Apple App Store

Handles payments and may provide anonymized analytics.

TicTracker does not share user-entered data with third parties.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

  • Delete all app data
  • Export your logs
  • Stop using the app at any time

You can delete all stored information by uninstalling the app. Because we do not store data on external servers, deletion is immediate.
